REN Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium are all about de-stressing and encouraging our bodies to function better. It works to restore the body’s balance of magnesium, which is required for healthy functioning of the body, as well as supporting cell energy levels. Magnesium is a mineral that is easily absorbed through the skin and helps it regain the energy it’s lost from stress. Combined with the benefits of sea kelp, harvested from the Canadian Coasts, it fights fatigue, stress and pollution.

The line’s signature Anti-Fatigue fragrance derives from a blend of essential oils including sage, rosemary, geranium and cypress that have a calming effect on both the mind and body.

Main Ingredients:

Atlantic Kelp Extract

Atlantic Kelp is rich in sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, amongst other minerals. It has excellent water-binding abilities which help hydrate the skin and form a protective moisturising barrier on the skin’s surface. It is also well known for its toning properties.

Magnesium PCA

This material helps boost the energy levels of skin cells which contribute to its anti-fatigue abilities. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which help to soothe irritated skin, and aids in relaxation and sleep.

Plankton Extract

Plankton extract blocks stress signals which can cause damage to DNA. It also helps reduce thinning of the skin, which older skin is prone to. In turn, this prevents dryness, can reduce wrinkle depth, reduces skin scaliness and boosts radiance.

Shea Butter and Green Tea Oil

Protects against free radicals.  Strengthens the skin’s barrier, a good source of omegas that helps moisturise the skin.

100% RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES

REN Skincare teamed up with innovative recycling company, TerraCycle, to create 100% recycled plastic bottles, containing 20% reclaimed ocean plastic. Recycled plastic isn’t as clear as virgin (first-use) plastic – that’s why these bottles have a grey tint. Go grey and join the battle for cleaner beaches, oceans and a healthier planet. REN hopes to become zero waste by 2021.
