Express your gratitude
Our daily lives can be relentless; not only do we have to remind ourselves to breathe properly and not get too stressed, we all seem to run from one thing to next so how do we fit in listing what we are grateful for? You have to practice it, like most things in life, and book it in like you would any other appointment or activity.
To take a few minutes every day to focus on what you have in your life and what you are grateful for has been proven to lift your mood and boost motivation. To focus on the positives in your life, no matter how small, can help you through the difficult times and find joy and peace with yourself.
If you are new to this then start your day by listing three things, anything, that you are grateful for – you will instantly feel more alive. Then in the evening write down what you have been grateful for throughout the day, after a week of practising this you will see a positive impact. It is simply an awesome habit to cultivate that demands little but gives much back. What are you waiting for?
